The quilted top of the insole helps to trap heat and keep toes warm while the middle layer, made of foam with thousands of sealed air cells, provides the majority of the insulation. The bottom layer, composed of special thermal aluminum, reflects the cold from the outside.

These insoles are available in European sizes 35 to 48, fitting standard US sizes Women 5 through Men 15. Kids Solar insoles are also available for children. If your size falls in between, size up and trim to fit, including narrow or wedge-shaped feet. Avoid trimming too small to prevent slippage or leaving too big to avoid cramping.

Due to the materials used, these insoles are not washable and are 0.16 inches thick. Depending on the shoe, they may reduce foot space so it's suggested to wear them in closer fitting shoes for at least 30 minutes at home before going out.
